The Modern Progressive Essentials wave audio format impulse response library is based on an OwnHammer proprietary cabinet loaded with speaker types and captured in such a way as to recreate the guitar cabinet tones of the 2010's era New Wave of British Progressive Metal, from which it takes its most heavy sonic inspiration.

Impulse response files are provided in Wave Audio Format (.wav), and have been minimum phase transformed using a proprietary algorithm.

The signature and highly sought after "California crunch" in the midrange found here is instantly recognizable and undeniably familiar to those who hold this sound dear. While most at home in post millennium progressive hard rock and metal, this tone filter will serve well any who seek the harmonious marriage of chunk and clarity. Lauded by Guitar World as having the "best versatility", "great for clean and high gain", and the "best impulse responses for progressive guitar tones", it's no wonder this is a founder favorite and go-to for so many.

PRODUCT VERSION:

This impulse response library product adheres to our V7 cabinet modeling procedures and methodologies. IR's created in this way best compliment the sounds of tube amps and digital amp platforms and products that meet the standards set in the post machine learning age of amp modeling. Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, if the platform in question accepts wave audio format (.wav) files in 24-bit resolution, mono channel count, and at 44.1, 48, 88.2, or 96 kHz sample rate.

If verification is necessary prior to making a commercial purchase, this can be accomplished via the low-risk IR Cheapie.

This question is best asked to the loading platform provider, as they will have official knowledge of their platform's operations and requirements. OwnHammer wave audio format IR's are provided in 24-bit resolution, mono channel count, and at 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96 kHz sample rates, should you need to confirm those specifics against 3rd party documentation or with 3rd party platform support.

In DAW environments, it is always best to use IR files that are the same sample rate of the project/session, as you cannot be certain that the IR loader you import the IR into has sample rate conversion correction capabilities.

Additionally, in the event that the platform in question finds itself in the below list, some information on known/submitted platforms and their native operating formats and requirements can be found at:
