Bringing the chugs to your DAW is our VST/AU/AAX format plugin for Mac and Windows computers. In addition to the enormous speaker inventory, the plugin version of The Chugginator allows the following tone control and customization features to help you dial in and nail the crushing sound you're going for:
Position and Proximity allow continuous control on a 2D plane while giving you a common sweet spot neutral setting.
Low Cut and High Cut allow you to trim and focus the ends of the frequency spectrum to your needs or let it all hang out.
Wrapping up the minimal option, maximum impact feature set is Resonance, which allows you to simultaneously bring in power amp Depth and Presence type frequency response alteration to scoop your tone, or not, after the fact.
All 900 core options from the plugin have been melded down to their sweet spot placements and provided as IRs in Line 6's proprietary .hir file format for use in their compatible hardware and software.
Each speaker is represented by a single multi-mic blended IR that best suits the sonic intentions of this one-of-a-kind collection (30 total single speaker IRs). Permutations of every possible two-speaker combination are also included as a turn-key solution for customizing your sound within a single, full resolution IR block (870 total speaker pair IRs).
