OwnHammer outsources payment processing through third party payment processors, and has no control over the accepting, or not, of cards in the 3-step transaction authorization process. There is nothing that can be done on this end to "force" transaction approval.

Firstly, make sure the name and address information you have entered into your account on the OwnHammer website in your account profile is accurate to that which is registered to the card you are using. Failure to do so can cause a transaction decline due to inaccurate address and identity information that your card's bank uses to help identify that it is you who is making the transaction.

Secondly, make sure the card being used is not exceeding the balance limit with the attempted transaction. Your credit card may not overdraft, and can instead decline.

Lastly, most declines happen from your card thinking it is "protecting you" from a fraudulent transaction, here a false positive, and at times is because the attempt is being made from outside the United States, where OwnHammer is based. Since OwnHammer does not have the worldwide recognition of companies like Apple, Microsoft, or Google, it won't be included in automatic/blanket white lists, so a card that may work for purchasing from a very large company may "protect you" from an international purchase with OwnHammer. Resolving this is typically handled differently depending on the card/bank. In some cases there are settings to allow for international purchases in your card's account dashboard. In some cases a text or email is sent to you asking if you are trying to make the purchase, and require you to click a button or link to allow future attempts. In some cases, calling the card company/bank and requesting transaction approval from the OwnHammer website may be necessary.

In summary:
  • make sure your address information is correct in your OwnHammer account
  • make sure you have enough remaining balance to cover the transaction
  • make sure your card is approving of transactions with the OwnHammer website
  • if all else fails, try a different card

Unfortunately, no. After extensive analysis of a trial deployment of PayPal, it has been determined that at the current time this implementation does not meet our operational requirements and cannot be provided as a payment option.

Shopify Payments - the current payment hub deployed on the OwnHammer website - accepts all major debit and credit cards directly, and includes Apple Pay and Google Pay for express checkout and connection to alternate funds sources. Should PayPal ever integrate into Shopify Payments, something we do not have control over, it will be made available at that time.

Some OwnHammer content is also officially sold through the Fractal Audio and Line 6 web stores, which may offer PayPal as a payment option. If the OwnHammer content you are searching for is only found on the OwnHammer website, pre-paid Visa cards that can be purchased from gas stations and grocery stores can also be used. Please note that most of these cards only allow themselves to be used 24 hours AFTER they have been activated as a security feature. This is a function of the card, not of the Shopify Payments payment processing system.

First and foremost, the website will never send "direct download links" to your email, and rather functions off of a user account framework where the content you purchase is downloaded directly from the website by logging into your account and viewing the orders in your purchase history.

When executing a transaction, once completed successfully you will be forwarded to the order confirmation page where you can download the file(s) by clicking the "Download" button, then clicking the download icon to the right of each product you purchased.

If you wish to download or need to re-download the files at a later time, simply return to the OwnHammer website and log in to your account. Once logged in, you can view and download from all past orders by clicking the "Download" link in the "Files" column of your Order History, then click on the download icon to the right of the files you wish to download.

As mentioned in the prior entry, the OwnHammer website intentionally doesn't work that way, and doesn't email you download links. The site exclusively utilizes a local account system, and purchased content can be downloaded directly at any time from the site after logging into your account and clicking the "Download" button in the "Files" column of your Order History, then downloading the files you want from the following page by clicking the download icon(s).

No, as is a common practice among digital product vendors for obvious reasons. As noted on all product pages and in the Terms of Service Agreement on the website, all sales are final. Requests for refunds will not be honored, and any attempt to force this will result in the cancellation of all licenses as an abuse violation of the EULA and TOS, and the permanent banning of your account.

No. These are separate, unique, and non-duplicate products sold and supported by the 3rd party OwnHammer partners. While in a few cases there are similarities, there are no direct counterparts in wave audio format on the OwnHammer website. If you have questions about purchase, proprietary file format, installation, or use within the software/hardware, please first contact them through their support channels.

No. Licenses are only granted to the original buyer and are UNDER ABSOLUTELY NO CIRCUMSTANCES legally transferrable.

Bundle Discounts

No. The way the discounts are built is per product series, and will only trigger when the conditions in the above tier schedules are met.

No. Products not within discount structures that have been triggered will be at normal price until/unless they also have a discount structure and their tiers have triggered.

No. The Bundle Discount is only applicable to your current shopping session and cart items. Contents from previous orders are not considered or included in the discount tiers.

No. The Bundle Discount functions on the back end by applying a percentage value discount on all items that are within the group of items that surpassed the most recent tier level. In this way it discounts a numeric value that is equivalent to that of the amount of libraries included at no charge (rounded to whole cents per item discounted) for that tier, and can combine with other promotions/sales in a way that again discounts an equivalent value of a library to replicate this perception of function of "buy x get y".

If you end up with more libraries than one tier but not enough for another tier (or have run out of tiers) and have products in your cart from a series that has differing price points and wish to game the system, make sure you add the most expensive libraries to your cart first. As mentioned in the following entries, user error or wishes to attempt a transaction again in order to get a better deal retroactively will not be accommodated.

No. Once payment has been submitted during checkout, the session is finalized and cannot be reverted back to through automatic processes or manual intervention via support request. When returning for your next shopping session, the item counter will reset for that new session.

No. As mentioned in the previous entry, once a session has concluded, it has concluded. Attempts to manually cancel your previous order and start a new one to obtain higher discount tiers will be considered a willing act of abuse and violation of the Refund Policy and Terms of Service, and will result in the cancellation of all active product licenses and the permanent banning of your account.
